Explore - Space - The Final Frontier

Space. The final frontier. To boldly go where no one has gone before. We know a lot about space. We’ve discovered a lot about space. Yet we still have so much more to discover. Just because we don’t fully comprehend it all doesn’t mean that we don’t believe that it exists.

I mean so many other examples like, for instance, the sun. We can go outside, we see the sun, but we don’t fully comprehend everything about the sun. Just because we don’t fully comprehend the sun doesn’t mean that we don’t believe that it exists.

When you think about the earth, like stomp your feet wherever you’re at.  We’re on solid ground.  We know the earth is sustaining in space. We understand that there’s this gravitational force that’s kind of putting it altogether. But even with gravity we know so much about it, but yet there’s still so much more to be discovered. Yet we still believe that the earth exists.

I mean put your hand over your heart right now. Now you feel the heart beating in your chest. If you don’t, call the doctor.  I mean come on right, I mean we know so much about the heart and science with the heart. It’s unbelievable. The surgeries, although we know, but doctors still can’t figure out what actually ignites the heart and makes it start.

We know so much about the heart, but we don’t fully comprehend it, but yet we still believe it exists. Our soul. Our very souls were trapped in these bodies, these shells.

We feel emotion. We feel lows and highs and feel pain and yet there’s so much mystery to the soul. Yet we still believe that it exists. If someone only believed what they fully comprehended, then they wouldn’t be able to believe in the sun or the earth, their heart, or their soul and that would be kind of absurd right.

The same way when it comes to us, exploring God, there’s so much mystery to him. He’s revealed to us so much, but we can’t fully comprehend God. So then, that means that we just can’t dismiss God that he doesn’t exist. I get it maybe for some of you watching and when you think about science, or you know all that we know, that sometimes that’s pushed you from diving in and that pushes you from having faith.

But just remember that even the greats, like Einstein said “That the more that I believe science, the more I believe in God”. Or like Heisenberg, “That one who just kind of sips a little bit of a science they’ll become an atheist. But if you gulp science at the end of the glass, you will find God.”

God’s mysteries don’t diminish the evidence of his existence. It’s just what makes him God. Let me say that again, God’s mysteries don’t diminish the evidence of his existence. It’s just what makes him God. It makes him worth surrendering our lives to it. It makes him worth being worshipped. Don’t allow the mystery of it to keep you from believing in it.
